"don't worry, be happy" -
when i first heard that song on the radio over 2 decades ago, i immediately felt sick and disgusted like i had just gulped down a big steaming turd. i still feel the same way today whenever i happen to hear the song playing on the radio. a slimier, more insincere ditty i have never heard.

Anything by Maroon Five or Nickelback. If either comes on the radio, I change it immediately, no matter who is there.

I don't like songs that repeat themselves with one to two lines all the way through. These two could suit my private hell.

^This.
Another that comes to mind is "Who Let the Dogs Out?"

And, there's this, which is actually really trying to annoy the listener:

Where to begin?

I flat out agree with "Don't Worry, Be Happy." In my German Classes in High School, it was one of two songs that scarred me because it indicated a test was around the corner. The other one is "Hakuna Matata" which I liked until those two years of German. Ultimately, I was worried and I couldn't push my fear out of my head in the second year.

Though, I also can't stand "No Handlebars." I know it's not what it sounds like it's about completely, but it irritated me to the point that when there was a radio call in where the audience was to choose between "Bartender" and "No Handlebars," I chose "Bartender" because if I'm going to listen to a story song, I'd rather it have destruction and a reason that the artist knows what's going to happen, versus hearing some "attention whore saying how he can ride his bike without handlebars." The DJ laughed and asked me if I'd be willing to join some sort of board that'd be talking about music around town over the comment.

A lot of Christmas songs annoy me.

Growing up (and later spending 'The Holidays' with my parents) Christmas was often about just surviving it emotionally.

The lyrics of those songs were often in stark contrast to my Christmas experiences

Anything by one of those new rock bands like The Fray or Daughtry...

They're famous yet I can't name a single song they ever made... I hear their names all the time, but can't figure out why.

Right now i think it'd have to be that "Baby, baby, baby, OHHH" song by Justin Bieber.
