How do you cope with the heat?

I sit in my apartment, and play games 24/7 in front of a fan that is on 24/7. I drink tonnes of soda and shower around 3 times a day. When i go out i can walk about 10 paces and i can feel sweat dripping down from my neck! The heat right now is abnormally high.

And... since this is an Aspie forum: the alternatives are not to be take literally.

I'm like in that episode of the Simpsons, where I have a tent pitched in the kitchen with the fridge door open.

I just hope the motor doesn't burn out.

I've migrated to the North Pole. It's quite interesting, knowing Santa Claus, in the flesh.

I live just across the swimming pool walking distance.

As of this year I'm without air conditioning so I try not to move around as much, keep the fans running on me, stay away from rich food or anything containing salt, drink plenty of water, wear light clothes, and keep an ice pack near by.

Yes it's very hot over here.

I'm actually not affected by heat too much, although I would rather have it cool. I was wearing a sweater outside when it was above 100.

Liquid Nitrogen sounds interesting. Now I'm drinking only boring cold mint tea with lemon and ice cubes
I hate this tropical weather which we have now. 20-25 C is ok for summer, but not 35 to hell!

First rule: don't go out, if you don't have to!

I stay in my air-conditioned house and pursue one of my hobbies (watching films, posting on WP, reading, writing, drawing). I also drink plenty of cold liquids.

No, its not serious, but its interesting to see what others are doing.

I went to a large electronics retailer chainstore yesterday, and all cooling/climate systems were sold out - in the ENTIRE COUNTRY so i couldnt get one :P A day ago i looked at a termometer and we had 40'C in the sun. Thats normal for, say, northern Africa.

Global warming? More like global FRYING PAN.

It's not very hot here in Seattle. Particularly compared to last year. I've got a 1 room air conditioner for my bed room so I go there when I can't take the heat.
