I remember, in elementary school, I used to vomit a lot. This one time, in art class, I made a Jackson Pollack on the colored, puzzle-piece floor. Very modern art. All the kids ran out. It usually happens when I overeat or when I'm just plain sick. A medical report once said that I could "vomit on command". Thanks, Mom. Nowadays, that problem doesn't really occur much, as long as I keep taking long, snake-like s__ts.

Has there been a moment in your life when vomiting has embarrassed you?

When I drink too much. I threw up on a girl once, that was pretty embarrassing.

Not too often no. The worst was when i was at this big party for a science class. Candy, marshmallows, pudding, cookies, etc. were everywhere. It was a 12 year old year old's dream come true. My friend was talking to me and i was eating a twizzler. 10 minutes later...no party for me. Oh man and it was on a carpeted floor...feel sorry for who had to pick it up.

I used to throw up when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I did so because I was so nervous, when I had to attend school. It was due to excessive anxiety, so I used to (actually this is pretty funny looking back) throw up in the dustbin which was situated behind a door. I think everyone thought I was just throwing something away. But, yeah, my nerves even then were extremely brittle.

In Polish you say: "to release a peacock" to describe vomiting (it's a very colloquial expression, only one step lower in the vulgarity rank than the term "throwing up"). There once used to be a commercial advertising some anti car sickness medicine the slogan of which was "it saves you from the peacock" (this sentence rhymes in the original version).

The last time that I vomited was early in the morning, on July 4th, when I was 18. I was amazed by how much of that stuff came out.

I rarely throw up. Even when I'm very sick.

I was embarrassed once when I was pregnant with my oldest and ate some soft cheese. My room mate at the time hid in his room and told me later he had a hard time not throwing up himself over the sound. Oops...

I remember, in the first grade, I threw up right in the middle of class. It's funny, because not long before that, another kid had thrown up in the middle of the classroom, near the same spot that I threw up at.

Also, toward the end of my senior year in high school, I walked out of one of my classes because I had an urge to puke. The nearest restroom was locked (stupid janitors... :x ), and so I was forced to walk all the way to the other restroom, with one hand over my mouth, trying my hardest not to puke all over the hallway floor. I ended up puking a little in my mouth. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

I don't throw up much, though.

I used to vomit alot of the times last year due to social anxieties or something, it would always happen every week or something and I wouldn't have a clue what was causing it?

Gosh, even on my sister's birthday, I ended up spending it by vomiting. :( What's worse...... a party.

I used to throw up about once a year, but so far it's been 2 years and I'm on a good streak (knock on wood). Last time I threw up was April 28, 2008. Before that, November 20, 2007.

Was it the same day each year?

I'm disappointed, but that's not your fault. Thanks for the reply.

I haven't thrown up since 4am new years day 2006 (drunk). I've been nauseous a lot though.
