Lately, I have found less and less satisfaction from going on Facebook. It's almost if the place has become a joke. First, it seems there is a "like" for almost everything, and it's gotten wicked annoying, Facebook Chat is a joke (just stick to AIM or Skype, thank you!), and it seems that I'm getting hit by glitches and other issues, and Facebook's just in general becoming another Roman Empire of sorts, and I hope some of you get the analogy.

Or maybe I'm just having a slightly rough day  but still, Facebook isn't what it was two years ago.

Facebook isn't even what it was, last summer.

When Facebook meets its inevitable end, what do you think will happen? Will we be plunged into a dark-era for social networking, or will new, better improvements come along?

Psh. With improvements defined as "better ways to stalk and/or insult people"? Nooo thank you. :?
I am not a big fan, but I feel like if I deactivate my account (which I've done before) I'll be even more isolated. To some that might sound nice, but I'd actually like some real friends.
By the way, Archduke Ferdinand, isn't the phrase "better improvement" redundant? :bom:

Meh... I don't mind the changes so much. However, I am getting sick of the game apps.

Facebook has never been good or worth while.

Never had a Myspace as I always cringed at the vanity/ego aspect of taking pictures of yourself and grinning like a monkey. I used to have a Facebook and tried to have an interesting account for a while, but then I went back to thinking how lame it was in the same way as Myspace,. Apparently on Myspace you could at least customise things but Facebook is locked down which just makes it seem like a pile of turd. To the person who said Facebook chat is bad, they are totally right! Why people use that instead of real instant messengers like Yahoo or MSN messenger, I do not know.

I find it hard not to facepalm every time I see people becomming a fan of those pages where you have to become a fan to see the contents of the site, and then it just sends you on to a survey and such.

Is it weird that I really like your avatar?

Definitely, the thing facebook can't do is actually customize your profile and I'm surprised people are STILL hooked on facebook, but hey, when one person is on there, they bring another and another and another to the point where you have created a trend.

i think Facebook's only redeeming feature is the wall-posting if even that. But myspace's status/bulletin/updates system is great in it's own way too, so it's hardly an edge. Everything else is terrible. Can't even put html or pictures on their profiles :P .

& yes, i love that i can customize my myspace profile and tweak it however i like :) .

People just take it way to seriously. Its sad when companies go onto those sites to get credible information on people. That's why I left it. It just wasn't fun anymore.
