What the hell is a Creedonian?

Creedonian (n.) Someone living in the fictional country of The Creedon Republic, a large and prosperous industrial nation.

Where is it located, and in what time? 1910?

On the Creedonian subcontinent, north of North America(if earth were larger) The setting is from 1870-1912(The first "Creedonian era" is 1851-1856(The civil War. My grandfather was president) The second, and more prosperous era, was from 1881-1889(my father was president), and the third was from 1912-1920(I was president).

Assuming that this Industrial country had an intellectual dimension:

Its an alternate earth, like in the movie Brazil where the transistor was never invented, so its still a vacuum tube technology
