Snow snow snow snow snow! My kids are watching an episode of Arthur and there's snow in it. The kids are PLAYING with it! Gah!

God... I hate snow. It's wet, cold, and it CRUNCHES under your feet! *shudder*

The only time I've ever been able to tolerate snow is when I went (tried to anyway...) skiing.

I remember my first trip to the snow. I was 10. I couldn't understand why I was feeling so panicked and melting down so often. It was only after a trip to the snow when I was 16 that I realized exactly what was wrong with me.

Did I mention I hate snow?

I love to watch Arthur. He has a lot of neat story lines. My favourite episode, is 'The Missing Puzzle Piece'.

I wish it snowed in Houston more. Also, the cold temperatures keep the mosquitoes away.

Sometimes I will watch Storm Stories, and I always end up wondering how some of those people shot the footage of those storms and lived to tell about them. I saw an episode that dealt with the 1974 Super Outbreak of tornadoes (148 twisters in one day, btw), and the footage was frightening yet surreal at the same time. There was a teenager who had an 8mm camera who filmed the F5 tornado that nearly wiped Xenia, Ohio off the map.

For every one person that lived to tell the tale, there's at least one that didn't make it. It's a sobering thought.
