I like engines that make power. Lots of power. My engine might be stuck under 200hp for now but I am happy to say it's capable of revving an extra 1000rpm (from 6K) with stock valve springs, it's got room to port it out and it's more than capable of making 100hp/L with the right investment without even resorting to turbochargers. Fully race built my Nissan VG30E can make 1500hp for a short period of time....or at least 900hp in reliable race application. Also happens to be probably the simplest V6 ever made, no major flaws. I've seen them go past 300K miles. I highly doubt those VW motors can manage that
