I'm not the only one on this forum with an interest in Buddhist philosophy--over the years, my personal philosophy resembles the Middle Way more and more, so recently I've begun mining it for more useful info on meditation. I'm actually reading a book about Asperger Syndrome and Buddhism--guess it's an aspie thing.

Anyway, I found this awesome diagram that explains the basics:

That's a nice map of the path. And if you want to know how to walk it, read Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha, by Daniel Ingram, Here or from your local or internet book shops.

That's a great diagram. I'm interested in knowing which book you're reading. too.

Buddhism is a good way to learn philosophy.

The book is Asperger's Syndrome and Mindfulness: Taking Refuge in the Buddha by Chris Mitchell. There are also a number of free ebooks on Buddhism and meditation (and tons of other great free books of all types) here: http://www.truly-free.org/#terms

Yeah, it's an interesting way to learn about logic, especially if one didn't have the opportunity in college. (Logic was one of my favorite classes).
