How old were you, and what were you doing with your life at that time? How does that compare to how you're living now?

When I first joined WP, in April, 2008, I was a 16-year-old sophomore in high school. Now, I'm 19 years old and I'm about to start my first year of college.

Pretty much the exact same as I am now.

I joined here a few months ago & I'm still 27 & my life hasn't changed much sense then but I am having more fun online. I was having some problems on other forums cuz people wer misunderstanding me & my issues. I'm spending less time on other places & I'm not having those problems here so my online life is better. Maybe that will help offline to eventually

I have been lurking since aug 07 and finally joined last year so unofficially I was 22 but became a member at 24

I joined in July 2004 (just one month after WP was created). I was 24 years old and in a relationship. I was working as a GIS technician and getting ready to go back to college part-time as well.

When I joined, there were just over 100 members. Compare that to today, with over 38,000 members.

I've also joined in the July, of 2004. I was raising and training my dog, Chico and I wasn't working, yet. I was 29.

I was 59 and still wandering around looking for someone like me, and now I spend much/most of every day right here with many.

I was really surprised to discover, that The Beatles were my favourite band, when I've first joined. I wasn't expecting that.

When I first joined, I was 16 and at highschool. It was 2 days after I got my laptop for my birthday.

I had a job and a girlfriend when I joined

But I wasn't in any bands.

I've been here 6 months or so. I've changed quite a lot in many ways. I'm so mutable.

I was 27.

I was 15 when I joined and confused about who I was. My musical interest was vague and I was just starting to get into silent films. My obsession with Queen might have started then as well.

I joined about 5 weeks ago. I was an overweight single aspie chick then and I still am now. I have a place to vent now since Facebook has been invaded by my family. I turned 21, started a diet and exercise plan that is working slowly but surely, had a few drinks, went on an adventure to New Jersey, planned a date (on another site) and posted here a lot.

I joined back in early May. I was having a rough time at the community college I go to. Back in January, the bus route I took downtown to transfer to the college was cut to once an hour. This meant having way too much social time at the college or way too little. With the daily routine I carefully planned out completely ruined, I had more stress than I usually did. Due to that stress, I found it difficult to interact with anybody, including my closest friends.

Somehow, joining WrongPlanet allowed me to escape the black hole I was forced into.
