since I worked at this job. I can't believe I been here that long. First full time job ever.

Congrats! The longest I lasted at one job was 2 1/2 years.

The longest job I ever had lasted me two years and me working full time only lasted a year and a half.

Thanks all. I started off as the company receptionist, then the position I'm in now was vacant in summer of 2002 and I took it. I work as a contractor for the Federal Government. I have to commute by subway train since I work in Washington DC. It's ok, but the cost is expensive. It's $10 round trip each day. It's $4.50 to park at the subway train station per day too. DC has the 2nd most expensive subway station in the US. San Francisco is most expensive. I thought NYC subway is the most expensive. Getting around the subway is ok for me. I know where to transfer if need to. Luckily no transferring to different route. I just get on at the starting station then get off 10 stops later. It's 30 min each way.

That's actually amazing and its also very difficult for someone who is on the spectrum to even get a full time job.
You must be very lucky.

Just one more year and its 10 years.
