She's obsessed with appearance. It might be one of the sources of my self-esteem problems. I'm working through it though. I feel good today and I'm not wearing any make-up at all. :D

I´m glad to hear you are working on your issues.
I havent seen one of the "why do guys hate fat chicks" coment on your posts lately so I think you are doing a great job.
You have to accept yourself before other people start accepting your apeareance.

Si. Maybe I'm feeling better because I have a date coming up in a few weeks or that I'm moving back to college in 10 days. Either way, yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Of course, I'll wear SOME make-up on the date. Gotta show that I'm willing to put in some effort after all. :D

I never wore make-up on dates. I felt it was false advertisement since I don't wear it any other time.

I feel it makes me feel more comfortable and confident so I'll be more relaxed. Now I won't wear an over-abundance so that I look like a clown or anything, just a little polishing. :D

Suit yourself. Personally, I'm against make-up.

My mom takes 2.5 hrs to get ready for work. I take usually half an hour, including breakfast. And going to the store, my takes maybe 45 min, I can just put my shoes on, and I'm ready.

Including showers? 8O

If I don't need a shower, I take 10 minutes tops for just myself.

Showers with the kids = 40 to 50 minutes. Showers alone are about 20 minutes.

If I'm alone with my kids and need a shower, it can easily take that long.

That's pretty much what men have to endure. Women taking forever and they look no different at the end. DO they just sleep for a couple hours??

Maybe it's because I'm not a mommy. I guess I'll learn what it's like someday. :D

Keith - Nope. We are working on getting ready, I think a lot of it is mental preparation as well as getting pretty. If it takes a guy 5 minutes to get ready, 20-40 minutes seem like an eternity. I've known guys that take an hour getting ready too, it pissed off their girlfriends a little bit though.

At ast you guys don't have Puerto Rican mom's. They work on what me and my dad collectively call "Puerto Rican Time". Ever heard of the time dilation effect?
