Today, after a little gentle prodding, my boss emailed me the recommendation letter she wrote for me for the JET Program that I'm applying to for the 2016-2017 year. The compliments she made in there brought tears to my eyes and moved me, because I've worked so hard for her for these past three years, and while I knew that she's come to appreciate my work, she's not openly expressed anything, so it felt really wonderful to actually know of how she's thought of me personally and professionally. Writing about it right now is bringing tears to my eyes. I feel like I've been able to accomplish so much and make major changes in my life because of her kind patience with me and the experiences I've gained with this job. Very close to crying ugly tears! :lol:
