We got a new oven fitted! Our old one was 20+ years old, everything was broken on it. The fitters only took about 10 minutes! They lifted the old one out and put the new one in, it was as simple as that :lol: Again, I am in awe of practical people. My daughter and I just sat and stared at the light and the fan in the new oven for a while because the old oven had neither.

Tomorrow we have a gas man coming to fit the new hob. That will probably take longer, he insists on coming at 8am too 8O

Then today the gas fitter came to fit the new hob! We now have a normal hob and oven, after making do with the other below basic ones for 20+ years! I feel normal. lol.

Researching absinthe and Aspie non-Aspie relationships. Seeing my hubby happily playing Minecraft in, what I'm now calling, God-mode. (Modifying landscape chunks.) The quiet which is usually broken by children. God bless anniversaries. :D

My dog just finished his last chemotherapy session (thyroid cancer), and his scans came back clear. Chemotherapy is usually a lot easier on dogs than it is on humans, according to the vet. There were two times over the three months where he threw up once and then was fine, otherwise I would not know anything was different if I didn’t know he was getting chemo. Now we are both officially cancer survivors.
