Making humorous post here on WP(well I think they are humorous) while listening to Trap

The prospect of joining a science competition! Or maybe two! Or maybe three! Or maybe as much as my body will allow!

I bought myself a proper thermometer.

Rugby is going well. Even if the team is nothing but neurotypicals. They are sort of forced to rely on me, so I do my best to get their attention.

They're already like sisters.

An odd euphoria from knowing what I will be attempting to memorize tomorrow, ea sunt, taxo! I feel that this will be a proper hyperfocus with all the oxytocin used with relation to strikingly interesting types of bacteria or viruses!

[I perform the following actions: wave forearms in front repeatedly, rock back and forth, display the, "odd smile," repeatedly clench and unclench hands, and rotate office chair back and forth!]

I've been pretty miserable lately, wondering if I should even keep trying to pursue any of my dreams at all. Feeling hopeless and all the related emotions.

I signed into facebook and found an email from a woman that I haven't seen since 1991. I was just 16 then and we were both at a nerd camp for writers. This woman and I had become facebook friends which as you know doesn't mean much-- mostly I was wondering if she would remember me as I had a crush on her when we were both 16.

Anyway the email I found today said that she had only ever remembered two compliments anyone had ever given her about her writing and she thought that maybe one of them was said by me. She was right. It was a silly compliment, not even meant to flatter her, but it was something I had said in a stream of unguarded consciousness.

But this woman wrote to me to ask me if I indeed was the one who meant it and if I still felt that way. It was incredibly moving-- the idea that I could have said some words which stayed with this beautiful, intelligent, accomplished woman for 20 years. It made me feel that, whatever problems I might have with people, I have the capacity to touch people in positive ways.

That's good, CactusJustice.
Sometimes we can't understand the significance of our simple words or actions. We'll probably never know most of it. It's good that she let you know about it.

talking to my little 10 yr old cousin about the way the world works, class relations, exploitation, riots, strikes, protests(specifically the one involving gillard last week) and revolution. i think i got the point across that one should always hope for a better world.

I got to spend some time with my best friend this afternoon.

My crush asked me to the Winter Formal dance after a week of forgetting to buy his ticket! The suspense was almost killing me!

My best friend came over for a while and we watched documentaries on YouTube.
