Ear pleasure? Well I guess it is a good thing to not hear them a lot.

Are you talking about oo-mox :?:

No! 8O I'm talking about my little sisters won't be home and I won't hear their particularly high-pitched singing voices....so I won't get a headache, and it won't hurt my ears like it usually does. I was wondering what TPP was talking about because he doesn't have younger siblings.

I knew what you were talking about. I couldn't resist making that joke reference thou.
Anyways what made me happy today is chatting with my girl Megz, posting on WP & eating fried-fish & french-fries for lunch a little while ago

I enjoyed hand cutting notches with a Japanese ryoba saw into beams of cedar wood today while barefoot. :D

I think I've finally cracked the trick of colour correction for 35mm colour negatives. Yes - real camera film.
Now I 'only' have to scan and convert a couple of hundred of them.
Hmm, this may take some time. 8O

Oh, that reminds me when my dad got our first family laptop a few years back and had literally hundreds of photos to scan in.

Ah, scanning photos is tedious, but at least you get an immediate colour image.
Scanning negatives is also tedious but with 'added entertainment value' - if you have a look at a colour negative you'll see it's not only negative, but orange too - and the shade of orange depends on the film stock used.
That needs to be removed without affecting the (negative) colours on the film, then the negative needs inverting and generally tidying up for colour balance. And then the fun really starts - film grain removal and general sharpening and tidying up.

It's amazing how quickly the fuss and bother of film + prints is forgotten, and I hope my stock of negatives is worth the effort of preserving. :?
