During school today I have donated blood to a person that needs it more than I do, and I'm happy that I did the right thing. :)

Just got a cool volunteer job where they'll repay me with good equipment I can either keep for myself or resell... :D I start tomorrow!

It'll be good to get back into the rhythm of needing to be somewhere in the morning, and on time! I'll look better on my resume too... instead of being a layabout while waiting for the new job to start, I'm doing something productive!

My violin bow arrived.

And I had a look in the shed at the bottom of the garden (which is actually a brick-built room which with some heating would be suitable for use as an extra bedroom) and there is space in there for me to practice, it has lighting and a mirror so I can see what I am doing, plus double-glazed windows and door, and it is far enough from the main house and our neighbours' houses that I can play in there and not disturb anyone.
