I find it very odd that aspies who often complain of NTs intollerance of difference are just as intollerant themselves.
Ive seen on a lot of threads not just that one, that people berate posters who are unconventional and different.
I find it very sad as I thought the aspie community would be more tollerant place where it would be ok to be different and ok to be yourself.
I guess all kinds of people are judgemental and intollerant of difference and want people to all be the same

Those are my exact sentiments, and I've been thinking about this, since February. More like the past 5 years, really. I come to WrongPlanet to feel free to be myself. I'm on this being myself kick, again. I was thinking that everybody here would be tolerant of all the differences here, because of the rejection that we all received from our parents, peers and authourity figures, because of our differences. It's pretty unnerving to see this happening to my brothers and sisters here at WP, and myself as well. I've almost walked off into the mist to never be seen again, twice this year. I keep on coming, because this is the only support that I get and it's free. I come to support others and connect with them, and I come here to be myself, do my own thing and have fun. We get new members joining every day, looking for that safe place to just let loose and be themselves, after a day of catering to society. I want them to feel accepted and I want them to feel safe. Some of them are as young as 6. There just as much a part of WrongPlanet, as I am at the age of 35. We need this to be a safe place for everybody, young and old, male and female, big or small, the business men and women and the punk rockers, the hippies and the Mods. You get the message.
