I think that whether or not he is fictional is irrelevant to the question, don't you?
Ask yourself this: Have you watched the movie? Have you thought about the character? Is it an interesting topic to you? If you answer no to any of these questions, you should know by looking at the topic that this thread is not for you!! So just don't click on it and spare the rest of us who like to have an open mind. I suspect some of you "HE'S NOT REAL!!" people are also responsible for some of the lame comments on YouTube videos, no?
I for one think it's at least possible, staying within the realm of the movie. He is very quick-witted, which might be a strike against him, but at the same time he is very awkward socially as well as extremely intelligent and focused, which are favoring traits. Also he can always remian calm and composed within the realm of his expertise, regardless of whether the circumstances are good or bad, which is something I myself have been known to do which seems unusual to those around me. So, not knowing much else about his persona, it's certainly possible that he could be viewed in the aspie range by someone who knows what they are looking for.
As for those of you who don't care, go not care somewhere else and don't clutter up the thread for those of us who might like to venture into the world of the fictitious once in a while. If you guys actually belong in this forum and aren't trolling, then you know as well as I do that venturing into the world of the fictitious is sometimes a much-needed break from a very harsh and unforgiving world of reality.
