What would you do on the show if you had a TV show about nothing but YOUR Obsessions on a channel like HBO or whatever, it does not need to be prime time. it could be late night or whenever!

I am sure my show would be mainly about stimming and snuggling and autistic sensory stuff since that is one of my most tangible interests and it is something I would enjoy doing. I wouldn't mind being filmed while snuggling with someone and explaining the benefits of snuggling and then for example filmed while wearing a thick PVC rain coat inside out to explain why i do it and why some other autistics do that. so yeah my show would be mostly about stimming.

What would YOURs be about?

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Bird watching in Sonic games! From spotting those elusive Flickies birds, giving Chao only birds, to trying to figure out exactly what species of gull appears in the game Sonic Rush Adventure, it's bird watching in Sonic games!! !

Egyptology, medical shows and medical themed shows that concentrated on the science not the relationships, dollhouses, sci fi, brit sit coms... along that range. Anything pop entertainment free (i.e. no MJ, no Brittany Spiers, no news shows, no reality shows that involved families with multiple children, or women who wander around insisting that only by having children/husband/anorexic appearance can I be fulfilled... etc.) I am certain my channel would be on the air for exactly 10 seconds, sigh, before they canceled it...

swedes are SO funny, seen from norway, everything about it, the color combination on the flag, the charming differences in the language "titta titta kolla kolla!" the higher percentage of blonde people, and their kickin back dancing naked around tall cut bushes in pure bliss throughout ww2

you guys ARE aware of this right? once a year all swedes get naked and dance around a tall bush, and often have heathen outdoors orgies for everyone to see.

in the meantime i cant imagine norwegians as having any sort of "image" in sweden. do we? anything? i know you guys know we like to walk in the hills and stuff. "gå tur".
and i heard we're very happy. thats kindova lame "image" thats what we say about denmark :(

I would probably host a food show (one about making chocolates, sweets and cakes/cookies) and it'd probably be slightly more technical than most cooking shows, teaching people the terms, techniques and ingredients used in the food prep industry.
If I'd get an audience along with the show, I'd obviously have them try samples of everything and they get to take home a little treat.
I might even invite one of them up to the stage to be my assistant for the remainder of the show
I'd try to squeeze in at least 1-2 healthy recipes per episode (e.g. vegan/glutenfree/suitable for diabetics).

I'd put all the recipes up on an official website, including where you can get 'hard-to-find' ingredients/kitchen equipment.

Or a 1-2 season show on fiber arts (spinning/weaving/knitting/embroidery/etc. techniques and their history), though it's a new, growing obsession so I'd have to read up on it more as right now i've just mostly been looking at different types of wool/threads and reading bits and pieces of information. No deep research or anything yet.
I would also make sure to pay extra attention to the traditional techniques/crafts of tribes (that are slowly diminishing) around the world to spread and keep their traditions alive. And ancient techniques etc. that can still be adapted to today's fiber arts.

I haven't thought this out yet, but ideally, I think I'd have about 1/4th-1/3d of the show take place in the studio, 1/4th-1/3d on location (when introducing traditional techniques and discussing them with a younger generation of natives who are active in fiber arts etc.), 1/3d-1/2 shot as a documentary (e.g. when covering the traditional techniques in depth).

A monthly magazine with patterns from the show and other tidbits will accompany the show ^_^

Mine are the Simpsons and South Park.

My ex hated those shows. I think she watched the 700 Club one too many times, and it distorted her mind.

Mine pretty much exists. The Discovery Health Channel!! !

But it could use some spicing up...
Less Documentaries on Families with 1000 kids and more learning about the anatomy of the human brain!

And beat themselves with birch twigs, yes?

My channel would include:

Seattle: The Founding of a City. One of those epic history things: me doing the narrative in key locations, interspersed with actors reconstructing real incidents like the Blockhouse Siege and the Great Fire of 1889.

Worlds Beyond. Each program would go to a different culture (Egypt, China, medieval Europe, various Native American tribes) and look at their afterlife beliefs.

TMI (or alternatively, Have Endoscope, Will Travel). A tour of the human body with explanations of the fascinating bits nobody outside medical school has ever heard of. (SeizeTheDay, just for you, episode 1 shall be the hippocampus. )

Word of the Day. We follow a common English word back through history and discover all its alternative meanings, roots and so forth.

The DIY Show. Not the putting-up-shelves kind but stuff like making your own zines, getting creative with thrift store clothes, start your own music label and so forth, with examples from all kind of creative outsiders. Kind of like Why Don't You....? (if any UK person remembers that) for punks.

And in between there'd be wall-to-wall Nirvana music. :D
