What's the point?

I guess you could make separate accounts and pretend to have conversations, but I don't see any lasting appeal.

I used to create Yahoo groups on odd topics and it was fun to see if people would join and how many. It's like a way to reach out to people on my own terms. I mean, if you are the group's creator they can't kick you out....

Now instead of doing that I create blogs on odd topics. My latest one is Kat e Rat (http://katerat.blogspot.com) which is in a language I don't actually speak yet. (The language in question has only about 25-30 speakers worldwide.)

I joined your forum and I also posted a link to it on my blog so I hope you will get more members.

I've started a forum of my own for people who like to write (fiction, poetry, ransom notes)
