It's a picture of myself with the contrast level adjusted till there are only 2 shades - pure white and pure black. I know it might not be immediately recognizable without some explanation so that's the purpose of this topic, so people don't silently wonder "what's this picture from?".

In the left of the picture you can see my hand which is pulling my glasses down to stare someone in the eyes. If there is a deeper meaning to it I don't know what it is so yeah don't worry about it being some cryptic message sent by aliens, zombies or my second personality.

very cool, love the concept and the choice of pic to use shows an artistic balance.. there's a symmetry in the dissimmetry.. I like it!

Thank you, I know I was blessed to see the original pic beforehand in the fact that I can just imagine by looking at it that my facial position wouldn't even be accurately recognizable by a casual glance (symmetry in the dissimmetry I guess you'd say) mostly because of the chin and lip area but I figured if I took that away it would lose any artistic quality it might have had and just started to look like a mask worn at a masquerade.

I suppose now I have to shed my irrational bias in your favor based on my appreciation for the Joker.

Are you making a statement about the duality of man?

My subconscious might be, but I myself was more or less inspired by this back when I did the original.

Ah, Scarface. The best film about a Cuban who fancies his sister I've ever seen.

I have to say, I never wanted to see that movie before I saw it cause I figured it was all dumb and gangsterish if everyone at my middle school liked it. Then I caught it on cable once and I was like holy s**t that's actually kinda well thought out.

I like the look of avatars that have that high-contrast, purely black and white look. I used to have one of Marla Singer from Fight Club, before I actually watched the movie and realized that she wasn't as "epic" as I expected her to be. I wound up actually feeling sorry for her rather than admiring her like I thought I was going to do.

Yeah I don't understand what people see in Marla. She's completely lame. Pretty much the only good lines from that movie are spoken by Tyler Durden or "I'm f****n' Lou who the f**k are you?"

I agree that Marla is pretty lame. I mean, yeah, I feel sorry for her, but not in the "I wish I could give them a hug" way like I feel with Edward Scissorhands. It's more like, "Wow. She needs to get some professional help, take a shower and quit being so slu*ty." I'm happy that Helena Bonham Carter has gone on to play much more interesting and less pitiable characters, like the Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland and Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd.

Very autistic. Err, very artistic.
