I was watching a case of someone having beat up by a bully. Apparently she had been bullying her like for a really long time, and they were in court. The girl who was the bully said that her sister frequently beat her up and was the one who was forcing her to do this. They decided to take the bully's older sister and their mother to jail, I guess, however the girl who was the bully was allowed to go.

I found this quite upsetting, as I was always bullied frequently in school. In my opinion, they should have thrown her with her mother and sister. There is just no excuse for bullying someone. What do you think?

It sounds like the girl was being bullied herself, so to say "there is no excuse" in her case and to judge her harshly is to also say there is no excuse for her allowing herself to even *be* bullied. So, and as wrong as her own actions actually were, the girl nevertheless seems to have done what she did to try to *appease* a bully rather than to be one.

I was bullied, yet I never bullied someone else. And she tried to commit suicide because of the bullying!

I understand, but it sounds like the girl you heard about had only been bullied into being a bully rather bullying because she wanted to be a bully. That does not make it okay that she did what she did, but then think about what the judge was up against in that situation ... and I can easily imagine the judge thought it best to place that girl in a much healthier environment where she might get some decent nurturing rather than being punished for having been bullied into acting like the bully she really is not.
