There is a culture of Every Day Carry (EDC) that focusses uinterest on items ( bags, flashlights, multitools ...etc. ) that you carry with you most of the time for (just in case if xyz happened).

It seems to me from what I read about aspies that they are rather inflexible when it comes to changes in circumstances .. so they may concentrate on pre-planning for different possibilities.

It occurred to me that they make excellent EDC enthusiasts.
So, any EDC fans here ???

I had no idea there was a subculture for that kind of thing! Then again, my dad says there's a subculture for everything you can imagine, so I shouldn't be so surprised.

 I carry a torch and a pair of scissors on my key chain. They come in handy now and then.

Some guy I was waiting with at a bus stop recently had a dinky kind of holster for a tape measure, with a tape measure in.strapped about halfway up his thigh. I guess he was a builder or joiner or something, but at first I wondered if it was a fashion accessory.

only thing I carry on the person is my iPhone and an RFID transit pass. My wallet is in my coat/hoodie pocket.
