First, birthdays suck. Especially after your 21st ... it is all down hill, but at least you can drown you sorrow in a bottle of booze.

In honor of my birthday yesterday, I watched a documentary on death I had recorded on the "Discovery" channel. Very interesting and, hey, you might as well know what is waiting for you.

Awww Billy, 38 isn't that old... You don't need to think about death. Heck, my parents are in their 50s and they're not even slowing down yet!

Also, your birthday is 2 days before mine. :)

Ooooh another Scorpio. Well, let me be the first to wish you a happy, happy Birthday! Yeah, cake ... I LOVE cake.

BTW, a quarter of my hair is gray now, and I have darker brown hair, so it shows oh so well. Damn genetics.

I teach a freshman or first year, however you want to put it, class and now I am 20 (TWENTY) years older than my students. Two decades. I could have had a child their age if I was not a late bloomer sexually. It is all so overwhelming.

Ok, your right, I guess I am having the day after pity party.

Why, thank you. I'm not a fan of birthdays, like yourself.

I hate birthdays! Mine and others, because they require the interaction with people, being nice etc. Even if I like people who have birthdays, I'm very reluctant to wish them something.

On Friday one guy I know, has birthday. I feel anxious.

It good to know there are at least two of us. Perhaps we will start a world wide movement -- no, I am probably over thinking this.

Me too! There are so many things that can kill us in everyday life that it's a wonderful thing when we live to see another year.

I got ripped on the birthday thing. Mine falls on a holiday and I would always get combined presents.

Am I the only one who hates singing Happy Birthday? Mine was on November 1st.

Ackman, I hate to do conventional things and I hate being the center of attention, so singing Happy Birthday or having Happy Birthday sung to me are equally unappealing. Put this in a restaurant and it's 10 times worse. Nonetheless, it isn't going to kill me (yet), so I just go along with it.

I sound like an injured cat when I sing.

I'm all for celebrating life, but I don't need a special day to do it. Life is not only precious, it is fragile.
