I wondered if anyone else has seen this? At the end I still hadn't really got any idea what the whole thing was about, but that made it sort of good. It was very creepy in parts and of course I noticed how there was no blood on Owen's jumper (twice) when he and Abby embraced as she bled. I don't think any of the other dozen in the theater really grasped it either so, for something that was built up through advertising to be a "must see", I was left thinking it was kind of a damp squib... has anyone else checked out this movie?

Not seen this version, but when is a Hollywood remake of a indie European film ever half as good as the original?
Get the original Swedish version, "Let the right one in" , I found it quite a beautifull film on a romantic level, the horror is secondary.
I would consider it appeals to Aspies with the two rejects of society finding Love with each other.

Wow! Thank you everyone. I didn't have any idea that this was a remake of anything? And originals are usually the best. My overall opinion of this film was that it was one of the worst films I'd seen, not that I go out much at all; my last time at the movies was probably around 2000!
I will try and download the original "Let The Right One In" and report back when I have seen it.
