I am not a big fan of weekends, personally. When I work, I tend to get focused into my work, and use that time to socialize with colleagues. In my case, work can be very interesting for me.
Weekends are not like that. I have fewer people to talk to, and I am often bored. When I do have the chance to talk to someone, the subject is often on trivial matters.
So anyone else here hate weekends? Why so?

I have a stock trading friend on skype, I like talking about technicals and setups but usually just during the weekdays, so I hate the weekends too. I like watching the market and looking for opportunities. Love mondays.

It's hard for me to adjust to weekends, so I usually do the same thing, maybe with less intensity. I don't work but I like to keep myself busy.

I don't mind weekends, but I don't really like the long school holidays that occur every couple of months. Find myself getting terribly bored, and somewhat lonely.

I hate the weekend because all the people that work and go to school are home to be noisy.

I'm unemployed, so for me, the weekends are just like any other day...except everything is more crowded.

I actually love weekends and always had because of no school. I always loved being at home to play and have free time. Now I love them again because I am off work.

Same for me. And I very, very rarely have a problem with boredom. I'm good at keeping myself entertained. What I hate is people asking me what I did on the weekend, because my answers either make them laugh or they tell me I need to get out and enjoy myself. :?

I also enjoy weekends. I get to have a lot of time to myself to catch up on my rest and my chores. The weekend is also when the best TV shows and specials are on.

I actually get bored when I have too much time on my hands but that is when I am not working. As long as I work, I won't get bored. Plus more of my AS kicks in when I don't work but when I work, I am more functional.

My job is so boring I want to stab my eyes out.

So weekends are good for me.

I have always hated weekends. When I was younger my mother made me so paranoid about taking ill and because doctors were shut at weekends, every weekend as a child I thought I was going to die. It probably sounds really stupid. I think the general weekend anxiety has always stayed with me even though it is not consciously on my mind anymore.

I also find weekends generally boring, and often get depressed when I think about all the people who are doing fun and interesting things that I can't partake in.

So why did you have kids if you don't enjoy spending time with them?

I hate weekends because I like the weekday TV schedule. It's a routine for me, and when I don't have that TV schedule I don't really know what to do.
