Somewhat obsessed with buildings, I especially love construction sites, and since my workplace is currently involved in a major expansion project I can secretly indulge to my heart's content. When I was a child I was obsessed with bridges and dams and highways and still am. My latest obsession is commercial jets, I just think they are fascinating the way they work. Give me a window seat behind the wing and I am in heaven. (The flight deck would be better yet but no way of getting there).

If I were to design a house it would be a combination of all my favorite styles. I would love to have a planetarium room. Recently I went to a presentation at the local museum which was in the planetarium and I found it very calming. So my dream house would have a planetarium room for when I get stressed out. I like to lie in bed at night and think about all the things I would have in this house.

When I was a pre-teen, my dream was to become an architect. I would even design house plans as a hobby. However, I gave up on that dream when I was in my mid-teens.

Nevertheless, I still love looking at house plans, and I find myself awestruck upon seeing pictures of ultramodern skyscrapers.

I'm mildly interested in architecture - only specific things call my attention very much.

I have, though, been insanely obsessed with game level design during my late teens and early 20s and with building blocks as a child; I could pick up any of those activities anytime with the same zeal.

Mainly because of depression. I was very depressed when I was a teen, and depression was what caused me to lose interest in pursuing architecture as a career. Also, I took a drafting class as an elective in high school, and by being in that class, I came to the conclusion that I simply wasn't cut out to design projects under deadlines. I was better at designing (and had more creative ideas) whenever I designed as a hobby, going at my own pace without the pressure of having to follow rules and deadlines. Maybe it's Aspie thing?
Yet, my drafting teacher once said to me, "You're so talented".

I did attend college though, and I majored in Marketing.

I dont like drafting either eh... Im more of a designer ahaha...

yea

creative eh definitely aspie thing

Um last year wasnt great for deadlines... But Could always talk my way around it...

BUT yea this year IM gonna hand everything in on time... :D

haha.... deadlines well I guess our minds can drift we isolate ourselves from the work because we want perfection... WANTING to make sure the research stage is fully completed before finishing our designs...
Perfection leads to procrastination...

haha

hmmm... words eh... LOL talk strong words and you might get recognised :P haha...

well marketing was a good choice then??????????

I seem to want to do everything.... ANY ASPIE OUT THERE DOING EVERYTHING????????
