This is just something I'm curious about. Most of us have probably heard things about Autism and gluten, and I've seen an article where it talked about an Autistic kid that really liked bread. I wanted to see if there happens to be a general liking of bread.

Personally, I'm a bread-liker. When at a party with food, one of the things I'm most likely to get seconds of is the rolls, and I'll often have them plain. I also like various with pasta noodles, and have eaten leftover spaghetti noodles with just a little butter and parmesan.

How about you?

I'm another bread fan. I've gone to Panera and ordered a loaf of bread to eat plain. Dinner rolls are the first thing I eat off my plate, especially if I'm squeamish about some of the other things there; Hawaiian rolls are my favorite.

Oddly, I dislike butter.

I like bread. Not as much as rice, but still I can eat tons of it.
I've even taught myself how to make Japanese style bread because it is hard to get them where I live.

But I just started a low carb diet 5 days ago so I can't eat them...sad.

I love wheat-based food. I like bread in general, cookies, sponge cakes, pasta etc. I think I eat too much of them. I'm trying not to eat too much of them though I don't have any health problem yet. I really like freshly baked bread of any kind with just butter on it.

I like bread and wheat-based food! I like most grain foods like cookies, bread, cake etc. My stomach is usually okay with this stuff. Expect for whole-wheat. Anything with whole-wheat like bread or pasta will get me sick usually. Damn the whole wheat but thankfully, most stuff that I eat uses white flour! :D I think I could eat some whole wheat stuff but I don't know exactly. Whole-wheat bread and pasta gets me sick.

Far too much - I'm a bread glutton. Certain stuff in particular seems to trigger an urge to binge, like bagels (add toaster and butter = whole pack gone if I'm not careful). I'm doing the slimming world diet at the moment so I can't have much bread, just noodles/pasta. Hard to resist bread as a snack though.

My partner is a coeliac, so we have a gluten free household.

But we also bake bread and cakes for local cafes, grocers (all gluten free) so we don't miss out on either.

You must be really good to bake for cafes etc. I wish I had a partner like that. I can bake basic things such as apple pies, cookies, basic butter cakes etc. They all taste good, but look ugly. There's no way I could present them to customers. I'm also not very efficient and take hours to make something small.

So much that I sometimes eat pasta sandwiches......

I did try to be gluten free for a day or two, but no chance.

I do try to eat more oats and less wheat though.

Around average. I eat a few slices of bread every day. I love dipping bread in all kinds of soups, especially tomato soup! :)

I really like good tasting bakery fresh bread and could eat it almost all the time. I don't care for that mass produced crap that doesn't taste much better than paper.
I love those big soft pretzels, too.

I love bread but sadly it makes me ill. I started with a wheat intolerance about 15 years ago and then barley, oats etc started to affect me too. I have found lots of alternatives though!

Wheat is 'the staff of life' so likeing it 'average' is likeing it alot- I would imagine. So I checked 'average' because i like it alot.

Love carbs- rice and potatoes- and wheat products.

Love pasta. Like bread- especially french bread, sourdough bread. Love rye bread as well.

As a kid I used to eat spoonfuls of pie crust mix my mother bought for cooking. I think it was just flour and maybe baking soda or salt or something added. I still crave cookies, cake, pasta... but I learned a little about something called "wheat belly" and I've been trying to avoid it. Also learned a bit ab out wheat having been genetically altered years ago and now it's kind of freaky and bad for us. So I look for other grain foods instead.
