Sometimes if Im stressed and I fall asleep after a night of drinking I wake up feeling refreshed rather than hung over and crappy. I always thought this was strange, anyone else have this? I think its because I have anxiety I feel refreshed as a result of a few hours of anxiety free fun from the night before.

not me I hate drinking. drunkness, I find, inserts itself slowly and softly, but when it leaves, it's painful and it messes me up.
good for you if you don't feel hung over, but how much do you drink on a typical night out?

Alcohol has the opposite effect on me. I wake up feeling drained. I don't like drinking.

Sometimes. I put it down to alcohol killing off old braincells and leaving things nice and light up there. Warning; pseudoscience.

I've never had a hangover, no matter how much I drink and find drinking helps me feel less stressed and relaxed. I drink vodka and normally lemonade as it doesn't make my head feel fuzzy and weird. Other types of alcohol like alcopop types give me a fuzzy head which I don't like.

I find aspartamey soft drinks give me mushy headaches.

Well...here's hoping I do feel like like this on Sunday :D

I do normally feel a lot less stressed after a night out, less anxiety, get to let my hair down and spend much needed time with friends (who I tend not to see otherwise)...and I'm good at avoiding hangovers now I've made sure no one buys me Coke rather than Diet Coke, and I've started taking super strength vitamin C tablets.

...granted this Saturday I'm going to be drinking many many many cocktails with people who I'd not normally go out drinking with, so I seriously doubt I'm going to wake-up feeling anything less than hell-like.

After like 3-4 beers, the opposite of refreshed is what usually happens.

After 1-2, nothing significant has happened to make me feel different.

Me neither, but I do usually feel...I don't know...I just feel really stupid the next day, for lack of a better word.

Never felt refreshed.

How on earth is that possible? I end up waking up with a hang over but then again it has been a good while since I had any alcohol.
