Only time of my life I ever felt I fitted in was when I was in Childrens homes, guess we where all equally broken in that situation, all in the same boat, all feeling differant from the average kid, so we all fitted in with each other and looked out for each other and enjoyed each others company.

At first, when we where 4 and 5 years old, at night, we would stare at the electric light bulb in our domitary, trying to make ourselves go blind, "because our mummies didnt want us".

Anybody else here enjoyed such a reprieve from an otherwise ill-fitting world?

From the age of almost four until I was eighteen I lived in three different foster homes. None were a happy time for me.
