I was introduced to Tinychat recently
Very weird
Many people
Up to 12 of them on camera on your screen at once
And they type and talk over their microphones
I prefer to turn the sound off and just watch them
It is so weird
But you can stare at them all day
Without worrying about them noticing
Like being in a big room of people
Without the people
They never even really know if you are there
I dont use my camera
I dont type
I just watch

I was wondering
If I set up a password protected room
Would anybody be comfortable meeting there
Like I said you can use a cam or mic or neither and just type
I think it might be fun to meet other Aspies
I would give the password via Private Message
That way only those who contact me for it can get in
And it would only be for WP members
The rooms I believe can be accessed 24 hours a day
So it would always be open for people with the password

That might be fun. I don't have a cam and prefer to type than speak, but I'd probably pop in.

How interesting. I'd find it terribly creepy to be one of the people conversing and having others just watching, though. As Moog said, I might pop in if there were a few WPers in a private room. May or may not use webcam, I don't know. I suppose it would depend on who was in there/how many people and if anyone else was.
