You can buy a pair of Alex Chiu's immortality rings here and live forever using them. I've used them for two years and have had decent results from them.

Either I'll live forever or "When I die I'll cast a shadow". I tend to believe the later is far more likely.

I don't know. In a way yes I want to live forever, over a hundred years. I want to travel and I want to see all new inventions and medical cures if possible. I don't want to see though more violence and more wars.

No. How long would it be before you got sick of living in general? Nothing could possibly be exciting anymore, not even something like eating. After all, you've done it a billion times, and perhahps even tasted everything you've ever wanted to taste, or see what you wanted to see, do what you wanted to do.

I wouldn't mind living until I think I've lived enough or a couple hundred years or so beyond what I'm supposed to.

I've actually thought about this a lot.

Sure, thought of living forever sounds cool and all, but that's a long time to be stuck doing the same boring thing, thinking the same boring thoughts and being in the the same boring place. I guess maybe you would have more time to experience stuff but I'm already scared to death (haha) of things that are supposedly going to happen. I'm scared Canada is going to get taken over by some crazy political group, but I've always hoped that if that does happen I won't be alive to experience it.

In short, I'm already sick of life. I've been depressed for 5 years, I don't think I could stand being depressed "forever."

Being immortal means that one is unable to be succumbed by death, however this concept seems complex. If one develops a dire case of Cancer, how can one resist dying? Death is natural, it can be resisted temporarily by modern medicine and good long term health, however death will occur, and merely asking this question is absurd.

I don't want to live forever, but I do want to reach 100.

As long as you look forward to the next minute you are fully living. If you feel that way be thankful for it and enjoy it as long as you can. If I could spend eternity looking forward to life it would be like heaven, but looking forward to the next minute is as close as any of us get. Spending eternity dreading the next moment would be like hell; it seems like that could eventually happen to anyone if they live long enough; given that I don't see any benefit in forever.

On a scale 1-100 in believing in infinity I'm at 60+ .. do I think forever exists ? probably so .. but then again, if it exists .. then everything ever is possible and has happened or will happen.. I view the universe as the mind of God. Our footprint on earth will echo on forever, so in those regards we will last forever. I don't think we're just subjected to being grounded here. I can't think with the concept of eternal nothingness after this life, but I can see living some sort of reality again perhaps eons from now. After death it appears to be like a idleness of nothing for definite period of time, although the only thing guaranteed is change. All life has the same beginning origins, and that connection brings it all together. If you go back 1million years or 40 000 generations (each generation is considered 25 years), your chance of being born is at most 1 in 1.8 x 10403167 or 18 with 403,166 zeros after the 1. The chances of us being alive right now in this very moment is almost impossible.. its where infinity comes in I'd think. Judging at the infinite amount of time that's in forever, of different universes , different forms of reality , etc .. would I want to live it ? I think only God can do that. Maybe we are apart of God.
