For example here in Florida it was in the 30's for most of the day so I wore a heavy thick sweater. Mom said that was stupid since it's 70 something in the house and I'm sweating so why wear a huge sweater. I said well it's cold outside. I've read WP posts of wearing flip flops in the snow LOL! IMO wearing a thick sweater when the weather outside calls for it is appropiate. I was running in and out all day doing chores. :-)

Similar situation happened to me the other day.
Freezing weather outdoors, but it was warm inside; however, I still kept on my North Face jacket, navy blue pea coat, hipster snow hat, thick black pants, and boots long after I came in from outdoors (as in 2 or 3 hours). I only took them off when my mother said I should change into pajamas or something.

I'm wearing a coat and a sweatshirt, even though I have the heat set to 69

Outside it's about 15 though. And I just went to pick up the mail and paper out there.

I often wear a scarf, hat and hoody in the house. Has been cold though.

I tend to wear cloths for inside when I go outside for short times. I woke up cold this morning but I raised the heater instead of putting on long sleeves. I have to go outside in a bit to move firewood & I may leave the shorts on instead of putting on long sleeves just to go out there even thou it's least 10 degrees cooler than in here

I'm indoors right now, and I'm wearing snow boots, a pea coat and a plaid cap.

In the summer I wear: t-shirt and jeans
In the winter I wear: t-shirt and jeans, and maybe a light coat if it gets below 20 degrees Fahrenheit outside.

I typically always stay in my pajamas indoors. If I get cold, then I'll put on a hoodie.

Yes, but my apartment has terrible climate control. If it's cold outside, it's cold inside; if it's hot outside, it's hot inside. My last apartment didn't have this problem, and I did not wear clothing which suited the weather outside when indoors then.

I am running around in short sleaves even though it is only 19 degrees outside and its only 70 degrees inside. I love it when its cold. I hate the heat.

Today the temperature was 30 degrees*, and I wore track-suit trousers and a long sleeved shirt. How inappropriate!

I usually wear inappropriate clothing in the Summer due to me disliking my skin exposed. Fortunately, my Mother is very practical and assists me in locating clothing that is adequate according to the temperature, but comfortable.

*-Celsius.

Inside, no. I tend to go to the basics of t-shirts, loose sweats (boot leg, hate cuffs), no socks/shoes when I get home because I can't stand being "dressed to go" all the time. I also can't stand my regular clothes for long periods of time, so I get comfy when I get home.

I wear heavy jackets on 40 degree days. Apparently this is a bad thing.
