What's a good gift for a 40yo Boy Scout - ok, leader - he's been a scout all his life and his sons are in scouts with him - they are a totally scouts family. My problem is getting him something he doesn't already have. Any suggestions would be welcome, and if you know where to buy (on-line would be great!). Thank you!

A 40 year old girlscout? :)

What about books on survival or fixing things for yourself? Something to do with water purification? What about old, antique tools like on that woodworking show on PBS?

How about an antique compass?

A heavy duty multi-function knife if he doesn't have a good one already
