Anyone else here do? Fish are lower maintenance than either cats or dogs.

Rocks are easy to care for. And you can stroke a rock, and let it sit on your lap. You can't do that with fish.

I cant stand dogs. cats? not really my thing. fish seem to me to be just as high of maintinace as both though. all the fishtank cleanining, fishtanks get nasty as hell son. all that slime on the bottom all the fish crap eveywhere

go with rocks. a breeze to take care of and will love you no matter what!! :pig:

I love fish, specifically goldfish. They can be so sweet and playful. And regarding aquarium maintenance, all you have to do is have the right number of fish to water ratio and have two filtration systems, one being an under gravel filter and your maintenance work should be minimum. I  :fish:

My pet plant is really cute. Plus unlike a boring rock, she can move towards the sunlight :D.

I'm still trying to train her not to wet herself... She gets so excited when I water her :?.

I love fish, they're delicious!
But seriously though, fish for pets was something I was never too crazy about. It's probably because you can't really do anything with them except sit around and watch them swim, which gets pretty boring after a while. Also they don't live that long. It got to the point where my dad got tired of replacing our fish and just stuck a bunch of fake fish in the aquarium instead (which looked really stupid).

I did have land hermit crabs. I liked them cuz you could actually take them out of their tanks and hold them (something you can't do with fish). It's a lot of fun to watch them crawl around too. I highly recommend them for people who want low maintenance pets.

You can also toss a rock at windows or at someone in self-defense 8O I don't really care bout fish except for eating em; fried is the best. sea-food is the best thing about living in south Louisiana. I would like a pet fish with the brain of a german guy named Clouse

Only pet I have rite now is a chinchilla. Their more high-maintenance then the other rodents. Mines kinda like a little kid. She tosses her hay & her food out the bowls & eats what doesn't fall true the wire. Then she starts moving the bowls & running around her cage trying to get my attention because she's hungry 8O I would find it funnier if she wasxn't doing that when I was trying to sleep :ncool:
