Simply trying to find where I wish to live in a recently considered territory and try to make a plan, that would help me achieve such lofty goal.

Trying to determine EzraS's tactical strategy from here on out, I'm just being silly & corny.

Why is it that I can remember every obscure fact about my shows and even the whole dance routine my class did to "Party in the USA" from eight years ago but not the homework for Mass Media?

Feel pretty good.
The ginger tea seems effective, so far.

glad you're getting some sleep and feel good - YAY. levomepromazine won't likely interfere with sleep, might even help you sleep if you decide to do something different for nausea. it was likely haldol causing insomnia.

I'm watching Dead Poets' Society, my favourite film ever, for the first time since Williams' death.

Two quotes always make me catch my breath:

“The Dead Poets were dedicated to sucking the marrow out of life ... We took turns reading from Thoreau, Whitman, Shelley... and in the enchantment of the moment we let poetry work its magic ... We were Romantics. We didn’t just read poetry. We let it drip from our tongues like honey. Spirits soared. Women swooned, and gods were created, gentlemen".

"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race and the human race is filled with passion. Medicine, Law, Business, Engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life, but poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, 'O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless ... of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life?' Answer: That you are here — that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. That the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse".

my favorite movie, too. followed by shawshank redemption.

I just saw your comment, cathylynn :) SQUEE! I also recall that you've enjoyed Six Feet Under

Your article is very good

But it's so unnatural for me to forgive anyone for anything

The counselor told me that if forgiveness is too much, the next best thing is :jester: suppression :ninja:  repression :skull: :nerdy:  :jester: :ninja:

The problem is that I feel obsessed with things that happened when I was 12 and 21 years old

And now I am 35

Homophobia
Social rejection
Flunking out structural Engineering
Autism diagnosis
Clinical depression diagnosis

The current situation is much better

But my emotional resilience now is much worse

Sooner or later when things get worse I won't be able to cope

:skull: :nerdy:

Merely reading one article, regardless of quality, won't get someone from grudge to forgiveness

That's like saying reading a book about skateboarding doesn't make someone ride a skateboard

Instead what I am trying and failing to do  :ninja: is just move forward with my "life"

But nobody will hire me or be my precious lil "friend"

They are not wrong or right

They just grossly misunderstand me

But autism, homophobia, and clinical depression are easily misunderstood.

And there are a lot of misconceptions

I'm just a little dragon soul, alone and lost in this human world.

are we friends?

do you feel comfortable pm-ing me about your trauma's at 12 and 21? i've had some trauma myself - been beaten and sexually assaulted by someone i loved and trusted. also kicked out of a profession i worked 11 years to get into. the best revenge is living well. i'm happy these days, so rarely think about my abusers.

I need to go for another blood test early tomorrow morning. I'm anemic. I've been losing blood each month.
