Oh I'll need a good Stanley knife to cut my carpet up
Ideally you will need a hooked carpet cutting blade for the Stanley knife.
Thanks man. I'll look into that
I'm in a situation where I have to dispose of the old carpet in stages because it's communal bins and I don't have any transport of my own to get rid of it
I suppose I could ask my neighbour to take it to the tip but I hate to ask him even though he has offered so many times...idk
A large pair of sharp sturdy scissors?
ActuallyI have an idea if you live in a high crime city area.
What you need to do is first make sure carpet has no identifiable features such as your name on it.
The cut it into smaller sections and put it in a box or boxes.
Nkw we take advantage of living in a town or city, as if one does, one may as well get the perks of such an enviroment and make things work for you rather than against you.
Tape up the box or boxes and simply wrap them up in birthday present paper with a ribbon and leave in a prominant position such as on your doorstep or front wall etc. Then go out and enjoy and see if it is still there when you get back! Can get rid of all sorts of unwanted junk by doing that if one lives in such an area! (I live in an area where there is very little crime apart from driving too fast or tailgating, so where I live has other perks instead!)
