Just nervous about my partner's trek up to Maine today (around 5-6 hours away). There is an incoming winter weather storm which could make for icy roads on his way home. I can't help but catastrophize everything, and I hate it.

Anxiettyyyy. We just put in our first bid on a home. I'm terrified and not very good at committing to big decisions like this (I see all of the potential catastrophic chains of events that could happen, and it is hard to see past them).

So today, Queensland ramps up the reopening of its borders, and starts learning to live with Covid. It was nice being (mostly) Covid-free while it lasted, but I suppose it couldn't go on forever. Hoping that things don't go too badly now that we're opening back up.

I hate how all of my friends became ladylike and prissy. Part of me thinks I should just enjoy having plushies for friends and say screw meeting other people. At least plushies don’t care about makeup and all the latest fashions.
