Do WE qualify for this type of disability?

Eligibility may extend past age 21 if the child is incapable of self-support because of a mental or physical incapacity and the condition existed prior to age 21, or if the condition occurred between the ages of 21 and 23 while the child was a full-time student.

]First off anyone over the age of 26 that are still under their parents medical insurance?

I know someone who is in her 30s, unmarried, doesn't have learning disability, ADD, aspergers or autism. So I don't know how she can still get Tricare which is the military health. Her dad retired from Army.
She can walk, drive, talk, and have a job.

was this 30-something individual ever in the military themselves sometime in her youth, even for just a few months? i knew somebody who got a 100% disability retirement [she could use tricare for the rest of her life, or VA] who spent only a few months in the military and was severely injured during basic training.

This 33 year old woman was never in the military at all. Just her dad was in the Army and retired as a full colonel. My dad also served in the Army and retired as a LT Colonel, so he and mom get Tricare for life. But was just wondering if aspergers adults can get whatever insurance a parent has.

When I was turning 21; my mom's insurance dropped me because I wasn't in any kind of school. My mom told em that I was disabled & dependent on them. Insurance said they could keep me covered if I was not considered a legal adult; like if my parents had a count order or something to have me considered where I couldn't have adult rights or make decisions for myself; I forget what the term is called
