There's quite a lot
The weather is usually very hot & humid all summer & during the winter it fluctuates between extremes. It's cold one day & then it suddenly gets hot & then cold again. We also have the risk of hurricanes.

It's extremely hard for people with disabilities here. Our politicians believe that business will not come here if they face high taxes. They believe that the government needs to budget within it's means & that it's unfair to take money away from hard working Americans to give the people who are too lazy to get jobs. So all the social services/programs especially health-care, mental health & education have been getting their budgets slashed for the last 10 years.

People here complain about immigrants like Mexicans stealing jobs from Americans but they love to higher em because they do not have to provide benefits & they can pay em a lot less.

A lot of the people here are very hypocritical. The preach religion at others but they do not fallow their own beliefs because they believe that they can do what they want because god will forgive them if they ask.

I also live in a rural area & there's not really a form of public transportation here & I cant drive because of low vision

That, except for GED's (that's what i am going to be getting next year). And, silly high humidity after it rains (not the rain, i like rain), every thing being far away

My city, despite having a population of over 300,000, has no public transportation. The city council will approve a multi-billion dollar football stadium, yet will vote down a proposal for public transportation every chance they get. :?

Otherwise, Arlington is a fine city. There's lots to do here.....if you have money.

The cars on the road 24/7 (I live along the main road of my town)

The extremely quickly forming dust in my house (caused by the above)

Stupid kids who think they're 'hard', patrolling the streets

the lack of public amenities in quick driving distance [parks, department stores, etc.]
yahoo neighbors, little but yahoos in general out here
all the non-public access private lakes where the rich [and paranoid] swells live
people with guns shooting at all hours, in the woods behind my place
mosquitos and bees and damned ants
living in the reddest county in western washington
no place to ride bikes without getting blown into the weeds by speeding auto traffic
wood smoke one cannot escape from unless one stays indoors
whinging 2-stroke engines on saws and dirtbikes marring the sylvan peace and quiet

Oh where do I begin?.. I think it's easier to name the upsides: my family lives here, beautiful beach, lovely green nature and no natural disasters. Politics, people, traffic, economics, culture and everything else is really bad :(

The heat!

To go to the nearest other city is 10hours in the car or 1.5hour flight.

Tour down under. :x

Nothing to do for anyone under 50 unless you are into church, clubbing/ dance pubs, or war hammer/ comics.

Emo's everywhere.

For every emo, there is a Wog.

Lack of decent bike baths unless you live next to the major river.
