Thanks everyone for the posts. Would've maybe been more active but bad week. Nuff said.
Also, is Garts a thread?

Re birthdays: iirc I share one with a man who was elevated to iconic or even prophetic status in a work of fiction. IRL he was just a businessman though, ridiculously successful, but still..
And a fella who would've once been the most unlikely politician.. Indeed, there's even a movie reference joke supporting the idea. ;)
Enough clues there... ahh but it's the second movie reference, the first being an earlier film and politician.
AnywAys good luck with that lol and thanksy again for more interesting things. :)

Couldn't watch the vid, although once I saw the title I didn't really want to.
looked into dates some more (was Henry Ford & Arnie btw) and found I share a birthday with Jean "Leon" Reno and Buddy Guy! :) loved Buddy ever since I first heard him.. Anyways also share that date with a certain and rather important 4-2 extra time victory and the death of okami Meiji.
Though now I've given the game away, but nvm.

Dear Fudo, good to see you!
One of these days you ARE planning to translate Acala's mantra for us, right?
Something interesting? My dog got skunked, rolled around in my bed, under the covers, took 3baths for the dog, STILL working on the smelly linens!
Britain has skunks, right?
Would y'all like another one?

Sylkat :?

Good to see you too, Sylkat :)
I did kinda challenge someone to translate it months ago..I don't think they remember, assuming they noticed.

I would guess that we don't have wild skunks but I can't say with certainty.

Acala/Fudo's mantra: "homage to the all pervading destroyer, O violent one of great wrath. Destroy! Un tarata kanman" though I daresay it could be worded a few ways and interpreted rather figuratively.

Hi Nat! :) So "they" say....but of course you're right! Technically, they have 2 "knees" (the stifle joints) and they are on their back legs. The front leg joints (the carpus ) are more like wrists...am I right?

Argh talk of joints and bones scares the little immovable one.. Lol
Thanks for sharing though :)
Have been stuck on a serious comedy binge and so have been slacking on the trivia of late..
Erm.tiny anecdote heard Jim jeffries (Aussie comic) tell the "is Ringo starr the best drummer in the world?" story and state that it was John that said he's not even the best drummer in the Beatles.. Though I'm almost certain that my Dad told me years ago that Paul said it... Either way I think the sentiment stands. ;)

GARTS = Got Anything Random To Say.

Yes, it's a thread. Probably would have helped if I explained my abbreviations though.

The quote"elementary, my dear Watson", often considered the most famous sherlock Holmes quote, has in fact never appeared in the canonical works of Conan Doyle.

Had to go through a new benefit form today.. Aiming for 15 points in some newfangled system.
Not the kind of test one wants to ace, but I think I did.
This might seem off-topic to some, but clearly they be mistaken;)
