Do you have any comfort foods, and if so, what are they?

I have three: Pizza, fried chicken legs, and fresh, ripe peaches. The first two are, of course, terrible for me and I rarely indulge in them, but when I do they're definitely feel good foods. The last, well, it's just rare that I find truly good peaches, but when I do...Oh man.

It might sound a bit weird but mine is smoked fish, I start purring when I see it :)

I thought Georgia was where the peaches were at...

In that family, I love a juicy ripe nectarine. Fond of kiwi too, and my absolute favorite is ruby red grapefruit. Yummm..

Absolutely, I attend at least one peach festival every year. But the season for good fresh peaches is, sadly, very short.

Grilled cheese sandwiches and chocolate milk; codfish cakes and Boston brown bread; buttermilk pancakes with Maine blueberries and/or real maple syrup. Homemade mac and cheese with rotini.

It's not weird to me. I love smoked salmon on bagels with cream cheese, sweet onions sprinkled with dill. That's my favorite thing to eat out of everything else.

I had a grandfather who use to smoke the fish I would catch and they were so good. (that's a great memory) :)

I'm going to have to make a trip to the grocery soon and buy some smoked salmon...
