I thought family guy made this up,
but people really do put butter on pop tarts.
anyone here does that

Nope, not me... I'd much prefer butter and sugar on my tortillas. :P

Haven't had one of those since I was younger, though... I like my Pop Tarts to be plain.

I had no idea this was a "thing".

I like plain Pop Tarts - no frosting. Last week for the first time I got the idea to put a bit of butter on them. It was ok - just a bit heavier than I like to eat.

I felt so original and creative for thinking of putting butter on Pop Tarts. Imagine my chagrin in finding this thread. :oops:

Maybe it would help their taste.I hate them.They remind me of a piece of cardboard with jam spread on it.
