Ink jet cartridges. You are lucky to get 50 decent pages before having to change one and they charge more for them than some printers. Of course, they give you the printer so you have to buy the specially designed one-of-a-kind cartridges. I am half tempted to hook it up to my arm. :(

What are some things you think are rip-offs?

1. Bandages. Seriously, they just fall off.
2. The Ghostuster's Song. Total rip off from I Want a New Drug by Huey Lewis and the News. Still a freaking awesome song though.
3. Glow in the dark nail polish. It doesn't work!
4. The latest Super Bowl. I won't even get into that one.

I agree. I hardly ever print anything and yet I'm always replacing them. People who print a lot must have to replace them weekly. At least it's no longer more cost-effective to buy a new printer rather than replace the ink. I did that several times in the past and gave the old ones to Goodwill.

Starbucks is a rip-off. A cup of coffee costs pennies, but you pay several dollars for it there.

I agree that ink jet cartridges are rip-offs.

I think that the biggest rip-offs are dolls and figurines. Barbies based on certain people or characters can cost upwards of $50, and the cheapest Ball-Jointed Doll I've ever seen cost $90, whereas most of them cost at least $200 or more. The price of figurines varies wildly; I got my Mad Hatter and Alice figurines for about $17 each, which I think is a fair price, but I've seen figurines which cost as much as BJDs.

The reason why I think the prices of most dolls/figurines are unfair is because I don't think they are that expensive or difficult to manufacture. They are probably made cheaply, but sold at ridiculously high prices because the manufacturers know that wealthy collectors would be willing to shell out a lot of money for them.

However, I could be wrong. Maybe vinyl and resin dolls cost more to create than I realize. If that's so, then please feel free to enlighten me. I'm just frustrated because I'd like to own some BJDs, but I don't want to break my bank over it; especially if it turns out to be a hobby that I don't enjoy after all.

I'm going to quote DuckMan here. It's a canceled cartoon series if you don't know

The Double Fillet o Fish at McDonald's. I've payed through my nose for two of those. My mum wasn't too happy when I told her that I ordered them. I was pissed off at myself, the night before.

Quibids. You have to buy bids to use them and when you sign up for it, it takes out sixty dollars out of your bank account and you have bids to start with. And when you bid, it goes up a cent.

Epil Stop N Spray, doesn't work

Duckman! I think I've only ever met one other person who was familiar with Duckman. That show had some great quotes.

iTunes is a ripoff. CDs are $9.99 before taxes. I can find most of that same stuff on Amazon for $8.99 & I'm not charged for taxes

Yep, those bags of chips are pockets of air with some crumbs on the bottom.

Has everyone noticed since the economy went to s**t that the amount of food you get has shrunk? I had an old can of tuna and a newer one has a full ounce less weight in it in comparison.
