I will escape the world, if I can. Would you?

I don't actually believe that I can. Maybe I can if I devote every hour to the process, and choose the correct path.

F* it. I'll just go on as I have, missing almost everything, and trying to do better.

On the other hand, if I find a good escape route here, I might. Suggestions?

well, you would need to build something that travels 25,000 mph to go at earths escape velocity.

That's why I suggested a bus.

Wait a minute... I have to escape the world sitting next to random people?!

Edit: not that I have anything against Random people. Random people rock the hardest.

Yes, I would if I can build the vehicle to do so. My idea for one is essentially combining a lighter than air craft with hydrogen scramjets. The first form of assent, via buoyancy, would be unpowered flight. Having a valve system to allow for the helium bladders to maintain equal pressure to the outside would permit a higher altitude prior to initializing the scramjets. Once the approximate maximum altitude by buoyancy is reached, then powered flight would begin. Higher altitude also means less air density and thereby less force of drag in opposition to the engine's thrust. Such a spacecraft would necessarily be extremely voluminous and mainly filled with helium, however via the cube-squared law it is still a possible vehicle.

I think in the future that we will be living on the moon, but probably in 50 to 100 years.

I realized I couldn't be a boddhisattva because if given a chance to get off the wheel, I'd take it.

I think I'll stay right where I am. I can't leave my friends, family and job behind.

I think sci-fi authors thought that 50 years ago. However, as long as we wait upon future generations to do what we can do now it will always be left for future generations.

If I could bring my friends and my dog with me, I'd be happy to escape the world. :)

Some days, I appreciate the opportunities for heroism, struggle and suffering, here. Right now, though, I feel sick of the constant heat and irrationality, and tired of contemplating the past and future. I could go for existing as a standing wave of spiritual energy and singing whatever I want into existence.

Or zero gravity, I could have some fun with that.
