Being in a Kinkos, Staples, or even Walmart can make me happy in an instant. I love the school supply rush just before September when there's ample amounts of all kinds of pens, paper, NOTEBOOK PAPER! EVERYWHERE!!

I don't know much about office supplies though, but I do know pen is a French word.

Anyone else like office supplies for no particular reason? :P

I also love office supplies. Staples is my favourite store to go into. I can spend the entire day in there. :D

Oh yes, I'm a fan of office supplies.

It's not a strange obsession but a simple joy, it's all neat tidy little things made for specific functions, and buying things makes me happy particularly when purchases can be justified as something useful such as with office supplies....granted I have many notebooks and pens that go unused, so they're not totally justified purchases, but at least they're reasonably cheap.

Staples is great...but Paperchase is

I don't generally care to buy office supplies, but I couldn't resist paying over $5 for one of those fillable tubs of paper clips the last time my mom gave me money to buy something in Staples. I never used a single one, but I still like looking at them....

Okay, I lied. Office supplies are quite wonderful.

i used to work in office supplies. it has a certain charm to it. but that wears off and then its just hell. jealous?!?

on a side note as a veteran of the office supplies world, i believe staples sucks ass. i prefer an office where they go to the max for ya. sure staples might be #1, but to me they will always be #2 along with the depot.

One thing I forgot to add, but I love the feel of a notebook after someone has been jamming away with a pen in all the pages. My teacher once found me sitting on the floor with a classmates journal in my hands. She just stared at me for a couple of seconds and then told me to go to lunch. P:

And Musicprophets, the only way I could imagine working in office supplies to be hell is the pestering people. Were there pestering people? :P
Any store with office supplies from wall to wall is a #1. My mom won't take to them all the time. It's kind of like how she'll only take me to Chick fil-A once a month, except we haven't been to an office store this year... 8O

At least it's another thing to bug her about, P:

I do too.

And I love their organization systems.
I collect empty containers. 8O
Just in case there's an apocalypse.
I'll have the plastic box to put it in.

I'm confused, you want to put the apocalypse in a plastic box?

It'd probably have to be in different, color-coded ones.... ~plans~

Sounds like when I prowl around the house for spare bandages in the middle of the night to make a first aid kit in case I ever get hurt, but a first aid kit would be very helpful during an apocalypse. :)
