It's usually not common for me to share my special interests with others, but I thought it might be interesting to have a thread where people can talk about their interests/special interests. Maybe share things like what you're interested in or maybe the newest edition to a collection of yours or something you want to obtain for it or whatever else seems fitting .

Lace-Bane will start first . One of my most favorite special interests is guitar. Although I think I'm a little more into guitars than I am about playing them. Although I do play fairly well and enjoy playing... I just find the actual guitar fascinating . For the last couple of months since I finally got a job, I had been saving for a special guitar (with also money I had saved previously) for my collection of Gibson guitars (Hehe I have a whole 2 of them now ). Er... anyway, here's the newest edition to Lace-Bane's guitar interest and collection . It's a Gibson Les Paul Studio Silverburst, with a custom diamondplate pick guard which I added instead of the original black one. Also I changed the chrome top hat knobs to black speed knobs for functionality


Er... feel free to ramble . Lace-Bane was just brief out of feeling awkward

Hmmm...I have been in a Steel Orchestra for 10 years now (from September)...although I feel like I may have to give it up due to not feeling like anyone will teach me as much (no offence to them but I perfer learning over people talking for half an hour about their life).

Seems there are more Aspies who are interested in Science or Music rather then something like English or Art (although I used to love doing Art and there are reports of really great Artists having Aspergers).

Funny, because music is art.
I like languages, science, music, and other aspects of art.

That sounds interesting.

Right now I'm currently very interested (Maybe obsessed is a better word.) in a web comic called Homestuck. It's got me wanting to do a lot of things like draw every single character. ._. And go to comic con as one too. 8D

My main interest right now is Animaniacs!
I watch it whenever I'm in a bad mood, and it brightens my day with laughter. Even though I never laugh till I collapsed!

I'm reading a lot of Biochemistry at the moment. It's a really fantastic subject.

As always there my one true love: Video games.

Then there are the other interests: Quantum Physics, Cosmology, Computer Science, Comedy, Cards, and Alliteration.

Everyone has such cool interests ! ! mines tea. Mm. I'll drink it twice or 3 times a day. I collect Pu erh , but I have tons of green,white, oolong, herbal, black tea

Lately I have been reading extensively into Operation Dragoon, the [Second World War] 1944 Allied invasion of Southern France. Initially it was supposed to coincide with D-Day on June 6th but they didn't have enough landing craft. As a result OD ended up occurring in August 1944, the Allies landing troops on the French Riviera. Not a very famous invasion compared to D-Day but I think it is very interesting, especially the deceptive tactics used by the Allies to trick the Germans into thinking the invasion would land in N. Italy
