I am OK with travelling to places one hour behind or ahead of Singapore, so I am more concerned about travelling to further places. As a kid I could use the school holidays to adjust back to my home time zone, but how about going back to work after a trip overseas? Thanks.

Just stay up until it's your normal bedtime. Overdo it on the caffeine if you have to.

before leaving make sure to know at what time of the day the flight will arrive at your next destination. Plan your sleep and meals accordingly to that timezone while flying.
