At first glance, it's a paranoid person's dream. Burglar-proof. Invader-proof. Impenetrable. Great for anyone who's always planning for the worse-case scenario.

However, the following quote is rather worrying:

"The architects don't reveal how long it takes for the entire property to clam up (presumably for security reasons), nor do they reveal what happens if the whole thing malfunctions and the cube becomes a well-appointed tomb."

The article fails to mention how you're supposed to get any sort of air supply in there, either. But theoretically, this is still a brilliant house - though I still think an underground house would probably be simpler and safer, but that might just be an ignorant assumption, because I know nothing about architecture.

They should use this house for a murder mystery film. I think that this house is the worst possible idea - being trapped with the person most statistically likely to murder you (your relative/spouse).

You're safer living as a recluse in a hut in the woods, mumbling to yourself and carrying an axe around. Everyone would stay well away.

Looks like the perfect house for my neighbourhood.
