Yesterday i was hanging out with a mate down the mall. out of nowhere this girl came up to my friend and started talking away at him, smiling at him and did not notice me or look at me at all. she talked away at him for about 3 mintues and the walked away and said "See you later". she did not even acknowledge my existence at all. i asked my friend who she was and my friend said "i know her from work". i am sure as well she was not in a hurry and she knew that i was his friend.

does this mean i am not very attractive? I know 'get over myself'.

not always to hurt( but sometimes they do) some people just have one thing on there mind and follow through, case in point, the girl knew him from work, she could have:
been running late and wanted to say hi?
a one track mind?
not good in socal situations and felt compelled to say hi but was scared to face you?
was attracted to him and that is how she shows it?
or is just a rude person?
i have not faced some one in that way and hope it wasn't takin the wrong way

she seemed like quite a loud outgoing girl and very chatty although i could kinda get a gut instinct from her appearence that she is not the kind of girl i would get along with................ a bit snobby if you know what i mean.

And yeah i was really annoyed by her manners towards me and kind of hurt as well cause i like it when girls notice me and are attracted to me.

Oh well; and so it goes...
I expect she was just more interested in your friend than you (and after all, she did know him and not you) - which isn't to say she was not interested in you; just that it didn't show in that particular situation.
Maybe under different circumstances she would show interest, but in any case I wouldn't read anything much into it - especially as you say "although i could kinda get a gut instinct from her appearence that she is not the kind of girl i would get along with................ a bit snobby if you know what i mean."

Yeah i agree its mostly just in the movies that a girl would instantly notice you and show interest in you......... still though remember i am friends with the guy she worked with and surely it would be in her best interest to show manners towards her co workers friend?

Would you not agree? Treating someone like there invisible is not good manners.

Well, she might have given you a small nod of recognition as she arrived and as she left - that would have probably been more polite.
Then again, you could have done that too.
But people are often not polite; just the way things are.
